Mission Statement:
To care for the financial and administrative affairs of First Baptist Church of Highland Park.
History:
Trustee
Wiley Lucas served as the first Chairman of the Board of Trustees Ministry in 1950 and held that position for more than two
decades.
Services and Activities:
The Board of Trustees Ministry,
composed of 27 God-fearing individuals, has a balance mixture of professionalism and spiritual leadership, which bodes well
for the advancement of the Church's physical and fiscal assets. Members are selected for their experience, which make
up a broad spectrum of skills in finance, accounting, management, administration, communication and public affairs.
The Trustee Ministry participates
with the Metropolitan Area Trustees Association (MATA) to share and gather information about how to properly and efficiently
attend to the Church's business. The Trustee Ministry hosted the first MATA full-day seminar. The seminar was very successful
and beneficial to many churches in the metropolitan area and beyond.

1.Let a man consider us as servants of Christ and stewards of the
mysteries of God.
2.Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.
